EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 2 3/4 cents per
bushel, November soybeans are down 4 3/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 8 1/4
cents, December Chicago wheat is down 4 cents, and MIAX December Minneapolis
wheat is down 0.0050 cents.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: On Friday, December corn rose 3 cents, November soybeans
rose 7 3/4 cents, and December KC wheat dropped 6 cents. Soybean and spring
wheat basis were weaker Monday, while soft red winter wheat basis was stronger
and corn and hard red winter wheat basis were steady. On Monday, the soybean
market spent most of the session recovering losses from Friday's sell-off.
Corn's turnaround from Friday was limited by wheat's move lower. Wheat prices
were weaker after Russia and Ukraine agreed to halt attacks on energy
infrastructure. Tuesday looks to be a light schedule for reports, with USDA's
Economic Research Service releasing its monthly commodity outlooks (Feed,
Wheat, Oil Crops, etc.) at 2 p.m. CDT. Otherwise, traders will continue to
follow geopolitical news and watch for early yield reports from across the
country, with early harvesting now underway.

Industrial Average down 152.09 at 52,421.20 and the S&P 500 down 37.00 at
7,619.98. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.961%. Early Tuesday, the
September Dow Jones Futures are down 247 points. European markets are lower,
